A simple question to ask yourself is how would you feel walking into your home? Would you want to buy it?
Number two is to purge and clean out as much extra clutter and personal items as possible. This might be daunting, but consider this an opportunity to do that massive clean you’ve always wanted to do. Also think about how good it will feel moving onto your new home with only the essential and “must have” items you need already organized and cleaned out.
Staging is very common in real estate to present a home in the best and most neutral way possible. However sometimes it’s not always necessary.
